AVR Series - Digital Video Recorders

The AVR series Digital Video Recorders are at the forefront of video/audio capture and processing technology. The features are usually only found on units costing more than twice their price. Each AVR we sell is custom built to the Client's specifications.

You can rest assured that as an owner of an AVR Digital Recorder, you will never be out of touch with the latest technology in Surveillance.

System Overview

Pan-Tilt-Zoom Control

PTZ Dome to preset position on alarm The PTZ dome turns to a preset position for region of interest on alarm activation. For example, if a card reader at the front door is activated, the signal directs the PTZ dome to the doorway for the scene and records the details from the card reader.

Object Counting

The new application counts number of objects (for example, people, vehicles) passing through a pre-defined area. You may define counter by object size, direction of movement, and detection area; the system then counts number of objects passing through the predefined areas. Counted result will be logged in the system log database for future references.

Day/Night Recording Mode

The Day/Night Recording Mode allows different recording mode for different time period of the day. Each day may be divided into 4 time periods, each represented by 1 span (up to 4 spans for a day). Each span may be configured to record by round-the-clock or motion detection.

Object Search

The Object Search allows you to specify a zone on an image and perform a search based on any motion occurred within that zone.

Thumbnail Search

In thumbnail search, one video event is displayed frame by frame in thumbnails in the playback viewer. This helps you to find a specific event within a video footage, which may otherwise be overlooked by other viewing option.

System Log

The System Log records major operational changes, sorted in five categories, into a database. You may browse all entries in the Live Log Browser, and click the entry to play back the associated video file, if available.

Twin DVR

When a surveillance system serves large number of remote view clients over the Internet that may be threatened by network overloads, Twin DVR helps to balance server load by distributing service requests to another server. Twin DVR is a web server application that runs on a separated computer that helps to take the web user requests that may otherwise uptake AVR system server resources for video monitoring and recording frame rate.

Managing multiple servers in web cam mode

The WebCam Multi offers powerful features for management of multiple servers through a web-interfaced WebCam application.

Point of sale integration

You can integrate a third party POS system.
It is possible to:
  • Superimposed transaction data on the recording image
  • Search video files based on POS transaction
  • Use transaction keywords as search parameters
  • Comparing transaction data to video for identifying fraud or unintended operational errors.

New Codec

A newly developed video codec offers better image quality, higher frame rate and smaller recording size. This allows us to achieve better recording performance than other codecs. See a test result comparing GeoMPEG4, M-JPEG, and the Wavelet codec.
