ARECONT Vision has introduced AV10005 video surveillance camera, said to be the world’s first 10MP camera to incorporate H.264 compression at full resolution.
According to Arecont Vision, the AV10005 video surveillance camera offers 3648 by 2752 pixel resolution at up to five frames per second. It also has dual H.264 and MJPEG encoding.
The company says the AV10005 camera reduces the cost of surveillance per unit area and raises the standard of video detail achievable with manageable bandwidth.
The security camera provides multiple non-identical streams with variable frame rates, bit rates, resolutions and compression quality.
