The AUCD-520409IR is an external, vandal proof, water proof dome, High Resolution 520TVL SONY CCD Security Camera with a 4-9mm Verifocal, Auto-Iris Lens.
A major feature of this Security Camera is the Auto-Iris.
Most cameras of this type use a Manual Iris lens and rely on the shutter speed to regulate the amount of light reaching the CCD sensor. This is acceptable for internal cameras fitted in an environment with consistent lighting and not for external applications where the level of abient light level varies considerably.
For this simple reason, we have employed the Auto-Iris lens module to accommodate for the light variations in external environments.
Externally controllable Zoom and Focus adjustments make it easy to fine tune the camera once it has been installed.
This model uses a 520TVL SONY CCD Sensor for outstanding clarity and low light performance.
